Was there for both of these "Stills" shows. He just made the night both nights. Weir seemed really jealous the first night and kept jumping in front of the stage as if to say look at me I'm still here. Bob's "Little Star" was kind of stupid (just like him!), but at least something new. "The Love The One Your With" was insane. especially Phils Thunder Claps!!

A memorable show for me - we high-tailed it from URI and got there just in time for the show. First set pretty typical but Jerry real takes off with China cat to open the second. The Steve Stills comes out and we knew it was a special night. Iko was SO much fun. Still rejoins for JBG to cap off a fun show. I figured this was pretty much as god as it gets so decided not to come back the next night - boy was I wrong - go check out the next night - really wild space leading into Love the One You're With - I got it on tape but wished I'd have been there for both!

Love the early version of Touch- much skippier- and the fast-tempo China Cat. Jerry is so sharp starting out of the gate with Minglewood. A tough listen but well worth the effort!

This was a great night. A little cold. The band rocked out on touch. Jerry was in fine form. He even remembered some of the lyrics. Uncle John's band-the best of the era.
